National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund

This year, the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund held its annual conference on June 25-28 in Washington D.C. The nation’s Latino Political Convention highlighted speaker Nancy Pelosi and congressional leaders such as Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez and Senator Mel Martinez. Democratic and Republican Presidential Nominee Forum included the 2008 Presidential Candidates Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama.

The National Council of La Raza (NCLR)

The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) held its annual conference July 12-15 at the San Diego Convention Center in California. This year marks 40 years of work, impact and influence within the Latino community. This four day conference provided workshops addressing issues in the Hispanic community, providing a forum of key members of congress, business and community-based organizations. Among the highlights of the event were Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama.

Recent Commitments

We inaugurate our special announcements feature with the Oti & Bob Warren wedding this past 4th of July. They managed to have their own fireworks display to celebrate their bliss in Southern California.
