6, 2007 at the
Renaissance Hotel in
Dallas, Texas.
The “Parents Step
Ahead” program is a
community outreach
initiative with the
mission of
educating, enabling
and empowering
parents to take a
proactive role in
the educational and
personal development
of their children.
This year, seven
award recipients
were chosen for
their efforts and
commitment to the
education of their
children as shown
through their
participation in the
program. Wal-Mart
Stores, Inc.,
donated computers to
the night’s
honorees.
