Get ready to scream your pants off this Halloween. Just when you thought the game was over, Lionsgate brings Jigsaw back for round four in the Saw IV where the origin of Jigsaw’s evil is unveiled, exposing his true intentions and the plan for his past, present and future victims. Catch Saw IV in theaters October 26.

In the isolated town of Barrow, Alaska, inhabitants are used to the 30 days of complete darkness that falls over their town every year. This winter, however, a group of bloodthirsty vampires arrive ready to take advantage of the darkness in order to feed on the residents who remain in town. A group of survivors have to do whatever they can to survive until daylight. 30 Days of Night will hit theaters October 19.

Without a doubt Latinos are changing the face of the United States. In an attempt to bridge the non-Latino and Latino cultures with understanding, author Cristina Benitez presents Latinization: How Latino Culture Is Transforming the U.S. In this book, Benitez aims at promoting an appreciation of Latinos to help embrace diversity and demonstrates valuable insights on the Latino movement in the U.S.

Learning a different language isn’t easy. Some of the struggles and difficulties are often times shared and sometimes they are not. How I Learned English: 55 Accomplished Latinos Recall Lessons in Language is a collection of essays about the challenges successful Latinos faced while learning English. The 55 contributors in this collection include Elena Poniatowska, Lorena Ochoa and Alvaro Vargas Llosa among others. When Matias Castro went bankrupt, his eldest daughter, one of 13 had an idea. She would create an all-girl band with her sisters. This evocative memoir showcases Anacaona, Cuba’s first all-female jazz ensemble in the 1930s. Queens of Havana: The Amazing Adventures of Anacaona, Cuba’s Legendary All-Girl Dance Band, written by saxophonist Alicia Castro, is the history of Anacaona from breakthrough to appearances with well-known personalities. Castro also touches on topics such as racism and jealousy that were endured during their career.
