event encouraged the
audience to take their

level, and what is the
next level? This is why
speakers from various
parts of the country
arrived to Houston, to
provide support and
ideas for Latina
empowerment in the
business world.
The great day began with
opening remarks of
Robert Bard, president
and CEO of LATINA
Style Magazine. We
then proceeded with
various informative
sessions such as:
Innovative Resources for
Funding, moderated by
Laura Jaramillo, vice
president and manager of
Wells Fargo, included
panelists were Manuel
Gonzalez, district
director of the U.S.
Small Business
Administration, Shirley
Brooks, senior loan
officer of ACCION Texas,
and Anna Sanchez, vice

Banking at Wells Fargo.
Following the first
session was Successful

You and Your Business.
