Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI)

On January 4th, 2007, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), the nation’s premier Hispanic youth leadership development and educational organization, welcomed Hispanic Members of the 110th Congress at a ceremonial swearing-in. Senator Ken Salazar (CO) officiated CHCI’s swearing-in. Incoming Chairman, Hon. Joe Baca (CA-43) pledged before the distinguished group of Hispanic leaders his unwavering commitment to work with all Hispanic Members of Congress, and CHCI to improve, among other issues, education and leadership development opportunities for America’s youth.
